The main issue was feeling like I wasn’t being compensation for my efforts in the area of strategy. Also, I wasn’t closing enough clients considering the amount of information I had.
There was something missing when I continued to chase the elusive $10,000 month.
What I didn’t have was a bulletproof system that would get me the amount I was worth.
In the beginning of my career as a consultant the ability to provide advice to clients was easy.
If you are knowledgeable about social media as well as content creation and digital marketing, you could provide an abundance of value to small-business clients as well as emerging influencers.
I have always enjoyed the Gary Vee podcast and trying to figure out what he was likely to suggest.
However, for me personally, I have always had a difficult time with all the issues related tothe real strategy behind digital marketing. The business of consulting. I was never taught by anyone about how you can “consult” therefore it was quite an exercise to figure it all out.
Conducting lead survey writing. Conducting discovery calls. Presenting deals. Organizing client data. There’s a lot to it. However, if it meant I could work and live from home, I was certain I would be able to figure it out.
